Background

I’m privileged to serve WLC as Assistant Dean of Advising and as Professor of Art. I have served at WLC for almost 20 years in a variety of roles, and I have taught courses related to practice and theory in art and design. During an earlier part of my career I worked in management roles in publishing, marketing, and printing.

My academic preparation was as a fine artist, and I maintain an active studio in painting and illustration. I show my artwork primarily in regional museum exhibitions. Also, during the last several years, I have published and presented on topics of vocation, which is the doctrine that teaches us about our callings in the earthly kingdom.
